Transverse flute in E-flat

Transverse flute in E-flatSide-blown flute made of brown wood (rosewood?) in four sections (head, top and middle joints, and foot) with bone cap and ferrules, and one brass key. The socket joint of the top body has an additional brass ferrule next to bone ferrule. Key mounted on raised ring at foot with flat, square cover, and spring attached to key touch. Large oval embouchure hole. Cork stopper. The foot joint might not belong with the rest of the instrument (different wood and ferrule patina, and no inscription). This instrument used to be played in a church near Cirencester.
